How is Advanced Spine Centre different?
We are a multi-disciplinary clinic providing evidence-based treatment plans to individuals. We understand every case is unique which will require a customized treatment plan to your needs. Our therapists also have extensive specialization in manual therapy that is not offered at other facilities.
What is the difference between Physiotherapy and Chiropractic?
Although both professions focus on helping people recover from injury or improve and maintain health, the main difference is that physiotherapy combines massage and manual therapy with focused rehabilitation exercises. Chiropractic has evolved from the use of spinal manipulations to realign the spine and relieve pain.
Do I need to follow the proposed treatment plan?
Yes, it is highly recommended that you follow through with the proposed treatment plan from your provider. This will ensure you are getting the most out of your treatments and a speedy recovery.
How do I make an appointment?
Please contact our front desk at to schedule your appointment and from there on, one of our administrators will accommodate you as best as they can. You can email us at info@advancedspinecentre.com and one of our administrators will then contact you. You can also schedule your appointment online through our website under “Book An Appointment.”
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
Please contact our front desk at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to cancel or change an appointment. Please note, we do not accept cancellations via email.
Will I get charged for not showing up or being late to my scheduled appointment?
No, you will not be charged if you do not show up for your physio or chiro appointment. However, 3 consecutively missed massage appointments will result in a $25 out of pocket fee.
Does Advanced Spine Centre bill directly to my insurance (Extended Health Care)?
If direct billing is allowed, the clinic will submit all claims on your behalf to your insurance provider via e-claims. If direct billing is not allowed, we will provide you with a receipt for you to submit to your carrier.
Regarding Extended Health Care, is assignment of benefit allowed?
Assignment of benefit is dependent on your insurance provider. The front desk administrators will find out more for you before you start any treatments.
